- From the deep end of the pool, reach down to the elbow depth (18") and collect one- pint of water in your water sample bottle or clean plastic container.
- Shock the pool with Super Shock-It in the evening per label instructions. Additional Super Shock-It may be needed after a rainstorm, heavy bather load, or exceptionally hot water.
- The following morning, add a maintenance dose of Algaecide 60.
- Check and maintain pH levels at 7.2-7.6 with pH Plus and pH Down.
- Monitor and maintain chlorine levels at 1.0 - 3.0 ppm using Chlorinated Tablets.
- Empty skimmer baskets and skim leaves and other debris from pool surface. Clean pool walls at water line with tile or vinyl cleaner.
- Bring a water sample to Airmark Pools for a complete water analysis. Water analysis is free with purchase.
- Clean your filter with filter cleaner & Degreaser.
- Run the pump overnight to distribute the shock throughout the pool and circulation system. Test your water the following day to make sure it’s balanced.
- Clean your filter before you close so you start the next pool season with a nice, clean filter.
